Big Cove Presbyterian Church is Building!

In the near future, we will be breaking ground for our new multi-purpose church building on our current property on Campground Road.  This two-story, handicapped accessible, brick facility will house both worship services, classrooms, and church offices.  We envision supporting the community by sharing the facility with local self-help and non-profit groups.  Our historic one-hundred year old church will remain and be used for special worship services, meeting places, and weddings.

Also located on our property are a picnic pavilion (open to the public during daytime hours) and a small playground.  Our future vision for the grounds includes outdoor prayer space, as well.

Beginning January 30, 2011, both worship services will be held in the sanctuary of the white church until the new building is completed.  Our 9 AM “First Light” worship is casual, interactive, and guitar-led with The Lord’s Supper celebrated weekly.  Our 11 AM worship is more traditional in style and includes a choir.  The Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month.  Dress for both services is informal.

A nursery, with church volunteers, is available, if desired, for infants through 4 year-olds, but children of all ages are always welcome to stay in the sanctuary for worship.
