Who operates The CARE Center?
The CARE Center, one of Big Cove Church's Outreach ministries, currently is funded and/or run by nine (9) area churches: Acklin CME, Big Cove Presbyterian Church USA, Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church, Christ Presbyterian Church, Cove Methodist United Church, First Baptist New Hope, Gurley United Methodist Church, St. Columba in-the-Cove Episcopal Church, and The Church at Hampton Cove.
What type of help from churches is needed?
The CARE Center needs volunteers to staff the office, act as tutors, and assist with the Home Repair ministry; non-perishable foods of all types; donations of baby and adult diapers, sanitary products, and cleaning supplies; monetary assistance for emergency relief services; and prayers.
