Ministry Team membership is open to anyone attending Big Cove Church:

Christian Education--outlining our Sunday School program, recruiting and training teachers, forming new opportunities for study and growth through book and Bible study. Tom Jones, Elder contact.

Evangelism--encouraging others to "come and see" Christ at Big Cove Church as well as taking Christ into the community. Linda Wheeler, Elder contact.

1. WAVE TEAM: teams of two people visit newcomers and drop off a small gift. Sign-up, Dennis McMahan
2. Special Events: two or three activities throughout the year that showcase Big Cove Church and are used to invite the community to participate. Sign-up, Shelia Birdsong.

Older Adults' Ministry-- planning events that involve our retired members and friends at Big Cove Church for entertainment, study, and service. Marie Dombhart, Chair.

Planning short and long term goals. Formulating the steps to continue to reach out to others and to meet the physical and spiritual needs of a growing congregation. Tennent Lee, Elder liaison.

Property -- maintaining the current property and making plans for future building projects. Jackie Koontz, Chair.

Decorating Committee--helping to beautify our buildings and grounds.

Stewardship/Communication--implementing ways to care for the church, its people, and the community through good and proper use of money, time, and talent. Debbie Book, Chair.

Worship--planning meaningful and engaging Sunday worship as well as planning services for special occasions such as Christmas, Lent, and Easter. Mariah Dickinson, Elder liaison.
