Designed for children K-5th grade, this bi-monthly gathering offers friendship, fellowship, fun, praise, and learning. Linda McWilliams is the Big Hope Kids' Director. Call the church office for more information and time of gatherings: 533-5570.

Hours: 15/week
Purpose of appointment
* To develop and implement a ministry attractive to youth in both churches and in the community in the following general age groups:
Middle School (6th through 8th grade)
Senior High (9th through 12th grade)
* To provide a process, through Bible study and Christian service and fellowship, for becoming a committed follower of Jesus Christ.
* To help both churches work toward growth by offering intentional ministry to youth.
People-links
* To be accountable to the pastors of both churches as a staff member, and to work under the oversight of the Christian Education Ministry Teams of both churches.
* To be available to meet, upon request, with the Christian Education Ministry Team and Session of either church.
* To be available in person or via telephone or email to mentor and guide youth on a confidential basis.
Main Responsibilities
* To provide opportunities for individual growth and encourage self-discovery
* To plan and conduct joint weekly youth activities
* To plan, implement, and participate in special activities, such as service projects, mission trips, retreats, etc., as appropriate.
* To encourage involvement of and be available to work with parents
* To build a team of the churches’ own young people who can reach out to their peers in the local area.
Potential candidates must complete and pass a background check.
